A little story about us and a brief history of how we started.

BS Resto, member of Borobudur Silver Group, was established in 2009 to accomplish our One Stop Concept of Destination for VISITORS of Borobudur Temple in Mungkid, Magelang, Central Java. The restaurant setting features an elegant combination of contemporary and traditional interior design, a beautiful place to relax and enjoy fine food, friendly service and the natural beauty of the region. Enjoy the fresh country air, dining with panoramic rural and mountain views. Several thematic areas in the restaurant are provided to suit your preference and events. The Balcony, The Garden, The Gazebo with the fish pond, the green grass outdoor which is excellent for wedding venue.

BS Resto is so ideal and function like an oasis after the temple visit during the day; and very romantic for the sunset. BS Resto is located near The new and up coming Borobudur Bed & Breakfast that offers affordable yet stylish stay. Open all year round from 8 am to 8pm, including public holidays. We welcome all functions,including wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate events, and any other fabulous event you can think of. We also welcome small family gatherings and we are a must-stop destination for the culinary-savvy tourist.

NATURE ENVIRONMENT

BS Resto is located nearby Borobudur Temple (used to be the 7th wonders of the world), and now as the world heritage of Buddhist Monastery. BS Resto location provides a nice setting and pleasing environment, surrounded by the panoramic view of 5 mountains. Together it provides the perfect weather, fresh country air and clear skies all year round.

For the dinning area, different choices of settings are available, from the Limasan traditional room, the Elegant Balcony on elevated floor with mountain view, the garden resto with green grasses, till the Gazebo huts within a fish pond…all can be reserved for you! Hence dining at BS Resto would truly be a holiday highlight!!
